Also known as the North American Brown Bear, the Grizzly Bear is one of the largest bears, although the size of individuals can vary greatly. Coastal Grizzly Bears with lots of fish in their diets can weigh up to 400 kg, while inland Grizzlies are often significantly smaller. While Grizzly Bears are carnivorans and capable of taking down large prey, they are usually omnivorous; plants and insects can make up a large part of their diet. You can up to six Grizzly Bears in a single forest enclosure.

When purchasing 1000 Diamonds³ or more, you'll have the option to choose one Gaur or one Photographer Stella NPC instead of the Grizzly Bears or Somali Ostriches.
The largest species of wild cattle, the Gaur is a massive bovid with a distinct dewlap and upwards curving horns. It is found through Southern and Southeastern Asia. In your zoo, you will be able to keep herds of up to ten of these big bovids in a forest enclosure.
Stella is both friend and family to the zoo staff - her stunning photos are instrumental in advertising the zoo. As an NPC, she will always be on the lookout for great shots and occasionally give you gift of experience points, Coins, or random puzzle pieces. Simply click on the pin that appears over her head to collect it!
¹To receive a bonus gift, 100 Diamonds or more must be purchased in a single transaction. That means several smaller payments (ie. 2x 50 Diamonds) will not count.
For each payment of 100-199 Diamonds, you'll get one Grizzly Bear or Somali Ostrich.
²A purchase of 200-999 Diamonds (pre-bulk bonus), will get you two Grizzly Bears or Somali Ostriches.
