A Blue-Necked Bonus

The Somali Ostrich is back as an alternative bonus gift option when purchasing Diamonds in Zoo 2: Animal Park!
2024-11-05
Although similar in size to the Common Ostrich, the Somali Ostrich is more of a browser than a grazer, and has blue, rather than pinkish skin on its neck and thighs.

You'll now have the option to pick a Somali Ostrich (instead of an Aye-Aye or Galápagos Pink Land Iguana) when you purchase 100 Diamonds¹ or more!

These blue-necked birds will thrive best in a savanna enclosure, where they can be kept in herds of ten.

When you purchase 200 Diamonds² or more, you'll even be able to get your choice of two Somali Ostriches, Galápagos Pink Land Iguanas, or Aye-Ayes!

Of course, you'll still be able to pick a VIP gift (Student Erik NPC or Asian Elephant) instead of the regular bonus gifts when you purchase 1000 Diamonds³ or more!

¹To receive a bonus gift, 100 Diamonds or more must be purchased in a single transaction. That means several smaller payments (ie. 2x 50 Diamonds) will not count.
¹For each payment of 100-199 Diamonds, you'll get one Somali Ostrich or one Galápagos Pink Land Iguana or Aye-Aye.
²A purchase of 200-999 Diamonds (pre-bulk bonus), will get you two Somali Ostriches or two Galápagos Pink Land Iguanas or two Aye-Ayes.
³With a purchase 1000 Diamonds (pre-bulk bonus), you'll have the option to receive one Asian Elephant OR one Student Erik NPC INSTEAD of two Somali Ostriches or two Galápagos Pink Land Iguanas or two Aye-Ayes. Getting more than one Asian Elephant or Student Erik with a single payment is not possible.
