Polar Bear Week

Polar bears are formidable creatures - cunning predators, they are adept at stalking seals coming up to breathe at holes in the ice. Considered marine mammals due to their dependency on sea ice, they prove highly adaptable when they need to be, forsaking their usual diet of seals for other sources of food. Unlike other bears, they do not hibernate but can fast for months at a time.
