Accessibility Statement of upjers GmbH

1. Understanding and Objectives

For many years, upjers GmbH has been committed to providing the most accessible possible access to its online services. As an internationally active provider of online and mobile games, we consider it part of our corporate responsibility to make our services accessible to all users—regardless of individual limitations.
We understand accessibility as a continuous development process that fulfills both legal requirements and our commitment to usability and inclusion. For us, accessibility is not merely a legal obligation but an essential part of our quality standards.

2. Legal Framework

This statement is based on the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG), through which Germany implemented Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act – EAA), as well as on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Conformance Level AA, referenced in Standard EN 301 549.

3. Current Status of Accessibility

This statement applies exclusively to the web portal www.upjers.com, including its information, registration, and support sections. The online games accessible through the portal are independent applications and are not covered by this statement.
Our development and content teams have implemented extensive improvements, including:

  • Structured HTML markup for enhanced screen reader compatibility,
  • Addition of alt text for key images and relevant navigation elements,
  • Improved focus control and keyboard navigation in main areas,
  • Clear labeling and feedback in forms (login, registration, support),
  • Verification and optimization of contrasts in navigation and buttons,
  • Technical support for multilingual content (correct language attributes).

4. Monitoring and Further Improvements

We have established an internal accessibility action plan and continuously assess our compliance with the legal requirements under the BFSG and EN 301 549. The results of these evaluations are regularly incorporated into our development processes.

5. Preparation of this Statement

This statement was prepared on June 28, 2025. It is based on a self-assessment by upjers GmbH, conducted using automated testing tools (e.g., WAVE, Axe) and manual testing with screen readers.

6. Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our services. If you encounter barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
