A Sparkling Surprise

It was a misty morning when Lucy and Anthony suddenly noticed a strange purple glow coming from one of the shelters. Their first thought was that some rowdy youths had broken into the enclosure - but upon careful investigation (armed with a pitchfork and shovel), they found a small, sparkling purple baby nestled in the hay! According to Dr. Byrd, the undisputed authority on such matters, the bright glow is indicative of exceptional health - a very rare phenomenon that only occurs with the best possible care!
 

Your breedings now have an EXTREMELY RARE chance to result in sparkling animals - unique animals that glow purple, glitter, and are born at level 40.

These sensational specimens cannot be purchased, and can only be acquired through breeding. Back-to-back successful breedings - so-called breeding streaks - will boost the chance to get a sparkling animal slightly; however, this bonus caps out at a streak of ten, and even then, sparkling animals will be very, very rare. Failed breedings within a species will reset that species' breeding streak.

Unlike regular babies, whose level depends on that of their parents, sparkling animals will always be level 40. However, their offspring will only be level 20 at most (unless, of course, they sparkle too). Sparkling animals are not considered color variants (and color variants can sparkle too!), and their babies are no likelier to sparkle than those of non-sparkling parents.

With this update, we've added more breeding slots for purchase in all regions, and capped the cost of fertility feed at 199 Diamonds per use (previously it would double with each use with no limit).
