Tiaras and Beards - A Winning Combination
To say De Brazza's Monkey looks a bit weird is an understatement. The largests of the guenons have grayish fur and are distinguished from their relatives by a distinctive orange crown and a snow-white beard (males and females alike!).
These unusual Old World Monkeys are quite secretive and live in swamps and mountain forests, making them hard to observe and study, so little is known about their behavior. In your zoo, these monkeys will come out of their shell though!
