Meganeura and Chasmosaurus are back!
We're switching up the animals in our Epic and Retro Chests!
Meganeura is returning to Epic Chests - each one will have at least one piece for you in its selection.
Related to modern-day dragonflies and damselflies, Meganeura was a huge insect with a wingspan of up to 70 cm. They were fierce predators that used spines on their legs to help catch other insects. You can keep up to 10 of these enormous dragonflies together in a single tropical enclosure.
Each Retro Chest is now guaranteed to contain at least one piece of Chasmosaurus.
These medium-sized herbivorous ceratopsids are believed to have lived in large groups. Their frills have large horns in its bone structure, suggesting they were used for thermoregulation or display rather than defense. In your zoo, they will feel at home in volcanic enclosures where it can be kept in groups of 10!
