The Common Marmoset lives in the northeast of Brazil. Because of the destruction of its natural habitat, it can't only be found in coastal woods, but also in plantations or parks. Due to its ability to adapt to new living spaces, it isn't an endangered species.

These animals will feel most comfortable in forest, jungle, and rain forest enclosures, where they can be kept in groups of 9, each specimen requiring 4 fields of space.
