The vulturine guineafowl is from the guineafowl family and owes its name to a vulture-like head shape. That bird lives on the ground and feeds on flowers, seeds, insects, and snails. The food provides the vulturine guineafowl with sufficient liquid, so that it almost never needs to take liquid.
