Native to Africa, the Oryx can survive without water for a long time. No need for that in your zoos, however - a good zoo director knows what the animals need, after all - and of course there are plenty of great, attentive zoo directors on My Free Zoo!
But let's get back to the homecoming king or queen: in their native environment, oryxes live in herds of up to 600 animals. Used to the savannas of Africa, they will feel right at home in either savanna or grassland enclosures.
