New: Volcano Region

You can now unlock the Volcano Region in your Cartographer building. Like other regions, you must first complete a series of requirements, which can be skipped for Gold Bars, before you can unlock it for 300 Gold Bars (as of level 20) OR alternatively for 40,000,000 Thalers (as of level 75).

Obstacles have to be removed from volcano region before you can place production buildings and plants there. Some of those obstacles can only be removed by using Gold Bars. Removing obstacles has another advantage in this region. You'll get building material for your protective wall.

There are currently 8 expansions for the volcano region:

Expansion 1 - 150 Gold Bars
Expansion 2 - 175 Gold Bars
Expansion 3 - 200 Gold Bars
Expansion 4 - 225 Gold Bars
Expansion 5 - 250 Gold Bars
Expansion 6 - 275 Gold Bars
Expansion 7 - 300 Gold Bars
Expansion 8 - 325 Gold Bars

This building can only be purchased and placed in the volcano region and costs 200 Gold Bars. Alternatively you need 50 card pieces to set it up. You can manufacture brick stones for the protective wall from the raw materials you have received when removing obstacles. You can also purchase these raw materials in the shop.

Volcano eruptions only take place while you are logged in. There are different levels. It can take several weeks for a cycle to be completed.

- Level 1: Inactive Volcano
- Level 2: Active Volcano
- Level 3: Upcoming Eruption (< 1h)
- Level 4: Volcano Eruption - animation and info popup, afterwards back to level 1

The info popup shows:
- Force of the volcano eruption
- Wall protection at the time of the eruption
- Number of destroyed fields and buildings
- Number of new obstacle stones
- Remaining wall protection after damage from the eruption

The volcano has a random eruption force between 1 and 100. The heavier the eruption, the more buildings and fields will be destroyed. Afterwards a countdown which indicates when the building/field will be able to produce again starts automatically for all destroyed objects. Productions can't be collected or started before the repair has been completed. Most buildings take several days. Upgrade levels and building slots will NOT be lost.

The wall construction progress is not linear, that means a significantly lower amount of points is required for the first 20% wall protection.

Protection & Progress: 20% -> Wall Points Needed: 10 -> Immediate Completion Costs (as of 0%): 1 Gold Bar
Protection & Progress: 50% -> Wall Points Needed: 100 -> Immediate Completion Costs (as of 0%): 2 Gold Bars
Protection & Progress: 75% -> Wall Points Needed: 1,000 -> Immediate Completion Costs (as of 0%): 15 Gold Bars
Protection & Progress: 90% -> Wall Points Needed: 10,000 -> Immediate Completion Costs (as of 0%): 150 Gold Bars

Premium users can bonuses regarding the volcano region. One free repair of an object destroyed by a volcano eruption each day and a permanent 10% bonus on wall protection for the duration of premium time. The bonus will NOT increase depending on premium levels.

We're pleased to announce a
Beginning on Tuesday, April 5 at noon CEST and up to Monday, April 11 at 11:59 pm CEST, you'll have the chance to earn back a percentage of the Gold Bars you spend in the game. The more Gold Bars you spend, the higher the percentage you can get back.
 
This is a great chance to save on fancy decorations, rare animals, buildings, expansions, and more!

The Gold Bars earned will be paid out upon logging in within one week as of Tuesday, April 12, at noon CEST.

In the game, you'll see a symbol on the right side of the screen that will show you the duration of the event. During the event, all premium purchases will be logged there, and you'll be shown how much you'll get back on Monday.

If you missed doors, you can subsequently purchase them for 3 Gold Bars each until May 3 at 10:59 am CEST.
