Back in My Free Zoo: the pangolin!

It is covered in scales, but it's not an insect; it loves eating them, however: the pangolin!
2014-07-02

Also referred to as scaly anteater, this unique animal is the only mammal whose body is entirely covered in scales. Its unusual name is derived from Malayan. The word "pengguling" means "something that rolls up" - and indeed that's what the pangolin does to defend itself against predators. Pretty clever, isn't it?

Formerly available only as exclusive bonus item, the pangolin is now available for purchase with our premium currency diamonds in My Free Zoo's shop starting at level 63.

Found in tropical regions of Africa and Asia, the insectivorous animal will feel right at home in grassland, savanna and rock enclosures.
